Off the shoulder cap sleeve, fitted waist and angled pleated full skirt. Bodice is fully boned. Bodice is lined in white linen. Skirt is partially lined. Back metal zip.

The article in the 1958 newspaper reads: Robert Morton's career is a sort of Horatio Alger story. At age 32, he's already spent half his life in the garment district-rose from mixing aniline dyes to designing for such top names as Ceil Chapman and Maurice Rentner. His recipe: graceful skirts, molded waistlines and shoulders subtly revealed. His clothes combine a sentimental regard for the feminine form with an engineer's precision when it comes to designing details.
